The life span of a carpet depends to a large extent not only on the level of daily wear and tear but also on regular daily cleaning.
The use of a brush vacuum cleaner is always particularly effective for the daily care of your carpet since this method allows dirt deep within the carpet to be thoroughly removed. In deep-pile velour carpets, however, vacuum cleaning with a smooth nozzle is recommended. A good doormat in the entrance area serves as a dirt-trap and will always help to minimize the amount of dirt entering the living or working area.
