The ecological vision of Vorwerk-Teppichwerke is to develop a waste-free carpet production process and a fully recyclable carpet. In order to get as close as possible to this ideal, we are pursuing the following environmental objectives:
Enviromental management. We aim to continually improve our environmental management system by introducing schemes such as TQM projects.
Reduction of emissions. We aim to reduce the emission of harmful air impurities to as low a level as possible.
Circulation systems. We aim to install circulation systems where possible and improve existing ones.
Resource conservation. We aim to organize our production system in such a way that the consumption of steam, electricity and other "energy carriers" is kept as low as possible.
Recyclability. We aim to design all our products to be as fully recyclable as possible when they have reached the end of their useful life.
