Vorwerk Carpets announces a new contract furnishing collection for autumn 2006. A new aesthetic for futuristic interior design - exclusively created by Ulf Moritz.
Hamelin, September 2006 - Three years after the introduction of Vorwerk's acclaimed "projection" range, the carpet manufacturer has just announced that its top-quality contract furnishing collection will be relaunched in the autumn of this year. With new materials, exciting structures and an innovative range of colours, Vorwerk and textile designer Ulf Moritz - Vorwerk's creative adviser for contract furnishings - promise to provide fresh inspiration and aesthetic highlights for ambitious and futuristic interior design. In addition, this is the only collection on the market today that carries the recommendation of the Deutscher Asthmatiker und Allergikerbund [German Society of Asthmatics and Allergy Sufferers].
Individual aspirations in the design of office space are increasing all the time. Apart from the desire for out-of-the-ordinary ideas and creative flooring designs, questions of durability, environmental acceptability, health and comfort are more important today than ever in the past. Innovative interior designers are therefore constantly on the lookout for fresh products and new services. And once again Vorwerk has the right answer to the customer's expectations in its new "projection" range - a perfect dovetailing of "want and need".
With a total of eighteen richly varied design qualities, Vorwerk deliberately aims to meet the special preferences and requirements that furnishing contractors, architects and project developers have today when it comes to a contemporary and futuristic style of interior design. Intensive
observation of the market, and close contact with decision-makers and creative spirits in the fields of building design and interior furnishing, have helped develop a furnishing range that is now even more closely aligned to the requirements of the industry.
"projection" - innovative designs and materials
The colours of Vorwerk's contract furnishing range for 2007 are clearly defined, unambiguous in appearance, powerful and at all events unmistakably unique. Ulf Moritz has succeeded in building an elegant bridge to meet the current trend for warmer and softer colours, performed in a timeless design that offers a special ambience, discreet charm and impressive dimensionality. But the new "projection" collection is not just an aesthetic triumph - it also sets standards in terms of functionality. Ultra-modern high-tech branded yarns from Antron® Fibres not only form the basis for hitherto unheard-of colour effects and surface textures; when it comes to durability and quality, these universally versatile high-class yarns are also among the most valuable manufacturing materials available today for the carpeting of public buildings. A further bonus of the new collection is that Vorwerk's contract furnishing series is the first textile carpeting to carry the recommendation of the DAAB., German Society of Asthmatics and Allergy Sufferers, seeing that it reduces fine dust in the air of the room by more than 50 percent. This has been confirmed by a study from the GUI [Gesellschaft für Umwelt- und Innenraumanalytik: Society for Environmental and Indoor Room Analysis]. The carpet range has also been awarded the seal of quality "Suitable for allergy sufferers" by the TÜV German Standards Authority.
Fourteen tufting and four woven designs constitute the range of the new Vorwerk "projection" series. These include sales classics like ARENA, FRISEA and BISAM. All these are of proven quality, but their outward appearance has been completely livened up. A highlight of the collection is the contract furnishing velvet FORMA, with more than fifty colour shades - offering a wide selection for almost any kind of property setting. The range has been supplemented with three new products which will make their first appearance in the autumn at Orgatec 2006. On this occasion Vorwerk will be presenting a new and exciting shaggy design, as well as the new woven luxury velvet CARISMA, offering maximum comfort and a quite special radiance as well as a Bisam effect, a top-quality Saxony with an effective mixture of yarns.
The new "projection" series once more emphasises Vorwerk's eminence as a supplier of carpeting for public buildings, presenting an innovative furnishing tool for creative design ideas. The time factor is yet another point in favour of the new collection: all the carpets of the "projection" range can be delivered immediately.
