IT’S FASCINATION WHEN A ROOM TURNS INTO A HOME.
130 years of innovation, quality, design:
Vorwerk shows timeless classics and new articles that look towards the future – as well as its core values – with the best-selling collection entitled “fascination”. Through innovative power, captivating design competence and unparalleled know-how, with “fascination” the company has been setting standards in the residential sector for 25 years.
DESIGN: A NEW, MODERN WORLD OF COLOURS
A sensuous interplay using modern, vibrant hues, the perfect match to each carpet article. Giulio Ridolfo and the Vorwerk Studio have created a fascinatingly contemporary world of colours. It receives its inspiration from landscapes and lighting scenarios found in nature, from architecture and art, from contexts with urbane roots. What makes colour so unique in combination with textile entities can be sensed here: the joy in a ‘sensual’ experience that brings warmth and an atmosphere of well-being to the home, not to mention the wall-to-wall carpet itself as a distinctive element of design – just as much for clear-cut, puristic architecture as for older buildings bearing historic styles.
POWER OF INNOVATION: PROVEN CARPET PRODUCTS AND NEW IDEAS
“fascination” unites timeless classics and new articles that look towards the future in one collection. The colours for existing carpet lines, for instance the variegated Modena, the expressive Lyrica, or Parma, a proven loop pile, have been completely revised. Their materials and looks have been adapted to suit today’s demands. Brand-new among the carpets are the soft Myrana and top-quality Safira, which picks up on one of today’s trends with its smoothly cushioned feel, and Gattea, a woven carpet displaying a modern flat weave. The wide range of classics and new items provides customers with a luxuriant selection that has a solution ready & waiting for every interior decorating style.
FUNCTIONALITY: A CARPET COLLECTION SETS STANDARDS
The name – fascination – is no coincidence. The collection’s wealth of facets is one-of-a-kind and has been fascinating clientele ever since 1990. It displays a breadth and depth that set it apart among carpets on offer, factors which have been arousing people’s emotional sides and convincing them through quality again and again for 25 years now. “fascination” consequently stands as a prime example of a success story that has continued for 130 years, with many a chapter yet to be written. And what’s more, “fascination” goes beyond a regular update with a receptive eye towards today’s currents and trends by offering its customers a unique service along with the assurance of a quality manufacturer: the in-stock availability of “fascination” enables very short periods for delivery once an order has been received. The Vorwerk brand and the ‘Made in Germany’ label stand for a quality product. All in all, these factors bring “fascination” such an enormously high level of acceptance on the market, a level which made it into a benchmark from the very beginning.
BREATHE FREELY AND FEEL GOOD AT HOME WITH CARPETING
Independent studies have confirmed that wall-to-wall carpets improve the quality of air indoors by binding fine dust particles. Yet besides cleaner air in the long run, a carpet also offers a multitude of other advantages which distinctly contribute towards an improved quality of life at home. As a textile product, carpeting automatically lends a warm, cosy touch to any room, an instantaneous sense of well-being. The soft, homey feel of the fibres – as displayed by the articles Safira, Myrana or Amiru, among others – generates a perceivable sense of snugness while placing less stress on joints. The slight bounce stemming from the multilayered construction provides a high degree of walking comfort. The carpet equally insulates against bothersome noise, ensures quieter indoor acoustics and diminishes stress in general. Not least of all, wall-to-wall carpets retain heat, too. This reduces heating costs and has a positive impact on the energy footprint.
